Lunar toy store phone number7/30/2023 The storytelling of Legacy follows characters brought together from across the multiverse as their universes collide. The toyline also sees the return of combiners from Hasbro for the first time since Power of the Primes, starting with the Stunticons in 2022. Characters from franchises known for more unique aesthetics, such as Prime and Animated, are updated with the modern Generations aesthetic to fit with the rest of the toyline, which can range from a significant redesign to the same basic model just rendered more like a modern " Generation 1" toy. The toys are largely in the scale and style of those from the War for Cybertron Trilogy, including numerous 3 mm posts and 5 mm ports from the C.O.M.B.A.T. Transformers: Legacy (aka Transformers Generations: Legacy) is a subline imprint of the Generations toyline, and the successor to the War for Cybertron Trilogy.įirst revealed in late 2021 at Hasbro Pulse Con 2021, Legacy commemorates the approaching 40th anniversary of the Transformers brand by featuring new toys of characters from across the Transformers multiverse. This story is “Developing” and we mean it.We did it. We are excited to get our hands on some new stuff! /PP0tCUCw0d Hey, yo, from all of us & our customers, cool move. Why would shops react so badly to getting new product from DC? Well, Midtown and DCBS are the big gorillas in the room, and local comic shops see them as their biggest competitors. As seen in this Facebook thread early reactions were NOT HAPPY with DC’s move, with reactions ranging from “Uh, oh,” to “I’m livid.” Retailers are still absorbing today’s immense news, so reactions will be filtering out as the days progress. Literally as I was writing this post, Newsarama confirmed that Midtown and DCBS are running UCS and Lunar, respectively. Is this just an emergency stopgap for an unprecedented crisis? Or the start of a new business model for the industry? I’ve long been saying that nothing will come out of this lockdown/pandemic the same. I’m told DC had been considering a move to supplement Diamond distribution for a while – and their plan to go with Lunar and UCS backs that up. Midtown and DCBS are Diamond’s biggest clients, and they would be in a position to have a large enough infrastructure to at least attempt comics periodical distribution. I was told early on that Marvel also had “a plan” for dealing with the pandemic shutdown, but whether they were also considering Midtown and DCBS as a Diamond alternative is unknown. Īs mentioned by Miller, Midtown Comics has been fulfilling both subscription and comp list comics for Marvel for a while. Another mail-order business, and like Midtown, a Diamond customer. The Discount Comic Book Service mail-order operation is headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, so that could well be Lunar, given the Indiana number that site has. Lunar was a little more circumspect and has an anonymous IP registration, however their phone number and domain registration are in Indiana, which is also the home of DCBS, a huge mail order comics company. Their websites are brand new, but Lunar has an Indiana area code UCS's website is owned by Article: /jwaTBORGKK Reportedly, DC will be releasing some new comics in late April through two firms, including Lunar and UCS Comic Distributors.
